We are committed to service based upon strict confidentiality and ethical standards. Our clients recognize and appreciate the value-added service of having an independent agent assist them with their insurance purchase and consult with them on various insurance related decisions.

Our service often begins with an analysis of your needs, developing a program to fit those needs and placing your insurance with the right company. As an independent agent, we are not limited to one company and we are able to place coverage with any company with whom we hold an agency-company contract. In addition, we have brokerage arrangements with numerous companies. We have adopted the attitude and the motto of the Independent Insurance Agents Association:

OUR HISTORY

Porter-Brandenburg Agency was created in 1995 by James (Jim ) Porter and Wesley Brandenburg who merged their agencies. Brandenburg Insurance began in 1959 and Porter Agency was formed in 1984. Mr. Brandenburg has retired as a partner, and is no longer active in the agency.

In 2001 James Porter and Ronnie Ward created Porter-Ward Agency and this partnership was formed to combine our book of business with certain companies to create synergy and leverage through higher premium volume. Ronnie Ward, who has been in the agency business since 1974, operates from a separate location at 2712 W Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
